Christmas Parade 2013The 6th Annual Hancock Christmas Parade, sponsored by The Hancock Chamber of Commerce and The Hancock Fire Department, will be held December 6.    Line up is 5:00 pm at (Firemanís Park) Parade at 6:00 pm (Snow date December 7)    Following the arrival of Santa at the end of the Parade there will be pictures with Santa at the Village Christmas Tree as well as hot chocolate and cookies.    The Hancock Fire Department will be awarding prizes.    Please contact Nikki at (607) 637-1406 to sign up for the Parade or for any questions you may have. New Hancock/East Branch Rest Stop Kiosk holds Hancock and county tourism brochures and maps. Over 300,000 people pass through the rest area each year.

Lourdes Hospital held a ribbon cutting and blessing of the brand new $2 million George A. & Margaret Mee Medical Building in Hancock on September 27, 2010. The new building is located on the site of the former Wheeler & Ensign Building and the McGranaghan Building.
