You will never be good at search engine optimization unless you understand and value this reality.
When I say good, I’m referring to someone who can consistently rank in the top 20 of search engine results for competitive keywords or keyword phrases.
I’m not talking about infrequently used keywords and/or keyword phrases that no one wants to find or look for on a daily basis.
Almost everyone, particularly in small niche markets, can rank well for non-competitive keywords and/or keyword phrases with a few SEO tips. When it comes to ranking high for competitive keywords, however, SEO tips will not benefit you very much.
To excel at search engine optimization on a consistent basis, you must first learn everything there is to know about search engines.
You must have a thorough understanding of all the components of search engines, as well as how they interact individually and collectively. Furthermore, you must comprehend how search engines interact with and react to websites.
This is not something that can be mastered overnight, and it is not something that can be learned by reading blogs, newsletters, engaging in forums, and/or other widely used methods of gaining basic SEO knowledge.
Finding quality content on the Internet and/or reading books on the topic of search engines are two ways to learn about search engines.
Don’t get me wrong: there is useful information available through blogs, newsletters, and forums; however, as I’ve said many times, to learn SEO, you must acquire and read information from a single central source that offers a concise and well-written overview of the subject that is easy to read, understand, and apply. In most cases, this can only be achieved using books or knowledge obtained from book content.
You would have a crucial component for success in search engine optimization if you have a thorough understanding of search engines. To be good at search engine optimization, you’ll need more than just a clear understanding of search engines.
